UKULELE’S: STOCK MODEL TENOR UKULELE
The “Stock” Tenor Ukulele is constructed in our standard combination of Japanese Cherry for the back and sides with a three piece Mahogany neck and Bubinga fretboard. In keeping with all our models we employ a Zero fret position and vintage fret wire and Abalone marker dots for our fretboard. The top is made from AAA grade Cedar and double edge bound with Abalone/Tortoiseshell (faux).
Whilst the visuals are restrained they are perfectly blended for a subtle and clean look. They consist of a bridge designed in the shape of two birds heads carved from old Pear fruitwood.
The headstock is decorated with a black and white herringbone inlay of Sycamore and Ebony. For the first time we have created a wrap around inlay on the headstock in Abalone. The machine head tuner buttons have been built in Cherry to match the body of the instrument. Whilst the “Stock” model is acoustic should you require a pick up system we have already allowed for easy fit in the future.
