solid body tenor
The Brief: It has been a while since a new “Krueger“ model had come off the production line. The move North, setting up the new workshops and then the repairs and restorations that our new clients have requested had kept us very busy. But we have made up for the absence with the first of three new models to arrive in Autumn 2016.
The first of these is the Ukulel-E and is inspired in part by the Inspiration B Blondie models and this is where we started. But as a solid body ukulele it has it’s own set of needs and requirements and I am always keen to evolve and progress so whilst the 15 degree influence is still clearly in evidence there are twists and evolution’s.

Construction: Designed from the outset as a solid body instrument this model was developed from the ground up to deliver that unmistakable ukulele sound and much, much more. We wanted to create an instrument with a range of possibilities and our wood choice, construction and pickup selection all played their part.
The split coil humbucker gave us many options all from a compact package that still allows us to capture some of that acoustic tone in a highly flexible instrument. Built in Tenor format and with tone woods selected to enhance that natural tone we built up a highly individual and infinitely playable instrument that is equally at home on stage, in the studio or just when you fancy pickup up a great Ukulel-E for a quick strum.
Sound Samples: Don’t just take our word for it try our sound samples and hear for yourself.
