Renovations - Ovation 12 String

There are times when you fall out of love with an instrument and it sits hidden away. This is the case with my Ovation 12 string. It just stopped feeling right and was never the easiest instrument to play. The general sound was good but it was always a bit of a struggle. I had played a couple of 12 strings that Dietmar had restored and they were so easy to play and sounded great. I left the work to him to make this guitar useable again.

The neck was straightened and frets were redressed. A new nut and saddle were hand made and set. A new active pickup system was added to bring out the tones of this instrument on stage. Along with a great set up and removal of any signs of wear Dietmar returned a really useful easy to play instrument that I am happy to use at home and on stage at any time.
